#6. Why ‘Chernobyl’ sounds so sublime, authentic – and haunting

I just finished watching 'Chernobyl the series' and I have loved each bits of it.
I'm currently redesigning my Metro Exodus Version, looking for sources of inspiration, and composer Hildur Guðnadóttir’s dark, ambient score sits like a lead weight in the pit of your stomach.
Chernobyl, the series played a representative role in the creation of my ambience sound and Chernobyl’ composer, Hildur Guðnadóttir, gave me the input to create my soundscape in a singular way.
The door OST Chernobyl track has been posted to provide a comparison with my Low drone used in tunnels scene trying to create the same vibes.

I have been using a binaural headset CS-10-EM, and processing them using Iris 2 Izotope to generate a distinct low drone sound played back by a ROLI blocks to enhance the pitch bending quality.
